The Santa Barbara Choral Society needs YOU! Energized and enthusiastic volunteers are always welcome.

Here are a few of the many ways you can support the Choral Society as a Volunteer:

Day-Of Event Support:

• Assist in literature distribution
• Answer questions
• Check in Patron Reception guests
• Help sell SBCS promotional merchandise

Community Outreach:

• Help promote our conerts and events by hanging posters, distributing flyers in coffee shops, community centers, churches, etc.
• Assist with mailings
• Forward information to e-mail address lists

Fundraising/Development:

• Assist in identifying new revenue sources.
• Make contact with local commercial businesses about advertising/sponsor opportunities
• Help us communicate with past/current donors

Recruitment:

• Assist in recruiting new singers.

Come to a rehearsal and learn more about us! The Choral Society rehearses at the Music Academy of the West on most Wednesday evenings at 7:00-9:30 p.m. during the season from September to May. Call first - (805) 965-6577 or e-mail: info@sbchoral.org to make sure there is a rehearsal the week you intend to visit. Please introduce yourself to someone as a guest, so that a board member can be notified and guide you through the rehearsal process.
